Stephanie Ringbauer, DPT Physical Therapist

DPT, Stony Brook University / B.S., Sacred Heart University

Stephanie graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2013 with her bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She then went on to Stony Brook University and received her doctorate in physical therapy in 2016.

As a student physical therapist, Stephanie worked in various clinical environments. Her first affiliation was at a subacute skilled nursing facility, where she helped patients of the geriatric population return to their prior level of function. Stephanie also spent time in a pediatric outpatient facility as well as the local school district in Maine, where she worked with children of all ages. She helped them reach their maximum potential at home, at school, and in their community. Stephanie spent a summer in Colorado interning at an orthopedic facility, where she treated pre and post surgical cases, learned new therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy techniques. During Stephanie’s last internship at Farmingdale Physical Therapy West, she realized this was the setting and facility where she wanted to work.

Stephanie enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping. Her other interests include traveling, cooking, attending concerts and playing beach volleyball.
